Other interesting Info : A lot of people tend to stereotype me with my tattoos and assume I’m going to be this big jerk, but in all reality I’m really nice and like talking to any up and comer in this sport to give advise or help them in any way. I’m only mean when someone has done something wrong to me or just provoked. My next tasks in riding my dirtbike would be to one day do a back flip. Is there anyone out there that can get me to a foam pit?

I ended up going to Austin, Tx this weekend of the 21st of August to check out and ride at this double up contest that was in an almost poker format. It kept it pretty interesting. The contest was an overall success I met a lot of great people and spent some time with the fans. If it wasn’t for them we would have contest period. I really do appreciate all the support and look forward to more double up contest every chance i get. I came home with 2nd place, i had fun riding and hanging out and repping my love for my sponsors, ill post pictures soon.

    WWA Nationals

    Written by: Ricky Gonzalez

Headed to Reno for the WWA nationals to support my division Pro Mens Vets. Its a great division for all the riders that i looked up too that have had a pro tour ranking in the past ten years and are over 30. Its a positive attribute to this industry and i look forward to it every year. I wanted to come out this year and repeat my win, which i ended up doing so. coming out of surgery in march and having to go through therapy was hard to get through my head that i need to train twice as hard and keep going no matter what. I guess i did okay because i came home being the 2010 Pro mens Vets national champion.

    WSR winch trip

    Written by: Ricky Gonzalez

So we just got back from a week long adventure, just me and the wsr crew along with some photographers and videographers. We headed up north to get our RV’s and load them up with food to last us for the week. We had some spots scoped out so we knew where to go. The pictures we got to see before hand looked like they were on a post card, the most insane drops and scenery I have seen for winching. It was a struggle on some spots to figure out how to get the winch just right and the handle passed to who was riding. We managed to get some great footage and photos which you will have to wait and see. along with the freezing water, it was freezing weather period, with snow everywhere. If the spot was too hard to get to we just posted up on the snow with the winch and had a quick session wakeboarding on snow. We had a quick episode with one of the RV’s which happened to have a blow out and decided to take off the poop tank so one bathroom was out of order. We had some illegal post ups with the winch having to get ran off by the cops or old people in their walkers at the retirement housing center. It was an overall great trip. Stay tuned for the photos, but ill let you have a sneak peek…
